A recent expedition to Clarendon, VA resulted in a worthy purchase of much needed storage vessels for my new home. Makeup, hairbands, tear sheets, magazines, ticket stubs, and lots of coloring pencils seem to never have a flagship spot on a shelf or in a drawer. So, metal, plastic, and rubber purchases filled up three red Container Store bags and made their way to my stuffed closets and cabinets. My favorite purchase of the trip was the Acrylic Vanity Tote. This Lucite-looking beauty carries my handy brushes, pressed powders and pink lipsticks perfectly . Its easy to spot and fits in with my homes’ design style. Of course, my other purchases are also extremely efficient and blend in nicely. It’s time to get my life organized for good.
