Just one hour in the car and you’re there. An afternoon in Virginia’s Hunt Country. Welcome to lovely Middleburg. I spent the last part of Sunday basking in the sun and enjoying the delicious wine of Piedmont Vineyards, just up the road from quaint and adorable downtown Middleburg. I had the chance to share a few bottles of wine with the owners and friends around great table conversation on this gorgeous pre-Revolutionary estate, also known as Waverly. I took to their Chardonnay which is fermented in stainless steel tanks. I love Sauvignons and Pinot Grigio white wines due to the refreshing taste that comes from being fermented in metal tanks – not wooden barrels. Thanks for the fun Peidmont! Oh, I brought my camera of course. Enjoy some of my shots!

Beautiful! Who would not love to be there…..? Kitchen CounterTops
